The Great Lawn at Sweetland Amphitheatre transforms into Sweetland on Ice beginning Friday, Nov. 19. The 5,500 square foot open-air ice-skating rink is completely covered by a tent, providing a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Bring your family and friends to this winter wonderland and enjoy holiday decorations and a spectator section with heaters to enjoy the ice-skating action and affordable concessions.
New this year, Sweetland will offer free holiday movies to the community on the following Fridays:
Nov. 19, 7 to 9 p.m.: ELF
Nov. 26, 7 to 9 p.m.: A Christmas Story
Dec. 3, 7 to 9 p.m.: How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Dec. 10, 7 to 9 p.m.: It’s a Wonderful Life
Dec. 17, 7 to 9 p.m.: The Polar Express
Sweetland on Ice is located in downtown LaGrange
TICKET INFORMATION: (tax included in all pricing)
Ice Skating + Skate Rental: $14.00
Kids Ice Skating + Skate Rental (10 years & under): $10.00
Bring Your Own Skates: $8.00
Group Rate (10+ people): $12 Adults/ $8 Kids
Tickets include two-hour enjoyment of the ice rink. Once you turn in your skates, you will need to purchase another ticket to skate again that day. The ice rink will be cleared periodically for ice maintenance and special programming.
Daily Hours:
Monday to Wednesday: Closed for Private Parties Thursday and Friday: 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: noon to 9 p.m.
Holiday Hours:
Thanksgiving Week (Nov. 22 to Nov. 28): noon to 9 p.m. Christmas Break (Dec. 20 to Dec. 30): noon to 9 p.m.
Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
