The St. Dun’s Buns, a baking group for donations, sponsored through the Mary & Martha Guild of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, is proud to announce a donation to the Lee County Humane Society. The group saw an opportunity to donate to a very worthy and necessary organization to support its mission to advance humane treatment and responsible ownership of companion animals through community education, animal sheltering and alleviation of animal suffering. Over 3,000 animals come through the doors of the Lee County Humane Society each year and the organization is in constant need of support from the citizens of Lee County in order to fulfill its mission. Sidney Hancock, coordinator of Outreach and Development, accepted the St. Dun’s Buns donation along with a loaf of fresh baked bread. St. Dun’s Buns bakes delicious items for donations to benefit the community outreach program at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church located on Magnolia Avenue in downtown Auburn, Alabama. The group will continue to offer fresh baked items upon request for a donation to the church’s community outreach program and promoted through the Mary and Martha Guild. Baked items for sale can be viewed on the Facebook page of St. Dun’s Buns with a link to the sign up Genius.
