Southview kids learn roots of Thanksgiving through games, dances

Students at Southview Primary School participated in Colonial Day during the week of Thanksgiving. They played old-fashioned games, learned dances and attended presentations by a quilter, hand sewer and a blacksmith. They also made quilt squares as a class project and ended the day with a fun-filled hayride.
