Gov. Kay Ivey announced a $200 million grant program, Revive Plus on Nov. 18. The grant program provides support to small businesses, non-profits and faith-based organizations that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These organizations with 50 or fewer employees could be awarded grants of up to $20,000.
The Revive Plus grant program is the second wave of funding for businesses, non-profit, and faith-based organizations. Through this initiative by Governor Kay Ivey, $200 million of the State’s CARES Act funding is being dedicated to providing grants of up to $20,000 to reimburse qualifying entities for business interruption expenses. The application process for this grant is being administered by the Alabama Department of Finance.
Alabama received approximately $1.8 billion from the CARES Act Fund. $200 million of these funds will be distributed to Alabama’s Businesses, Non-Profits and Faith-Based Organizations as $20,000 cash grants.
If you have previously received funding through the Revive Alabama Small Business, Non-Profit, Faith-Based and Health Care Provider grants programs, you may apply and if eligible, receive funding. The award will be in addition to funding you have already received or plan to receive.
Starting on Nov. 23, 2020, Alabama Businesses, Non-Profits and Faith-Based Organizations are encouraged to complete an application through Submittable Online Portal (www.alabama.submittable.com/submit).
