Believers from all corners of Lee County, as well as people from around Alabama, will gather together at the Lee County Courthouse square March 4 to join together in worship and prayer.
According to information provided by event organizers, the prayer meeting will give people a “chance to change the course of a nation by praying for the city, country, families, churches, businessess and leaders during the election year.”
The event will begin at 7 p.m. March 4 and continue until midnight.
Suniel Macwan is playing a pivitol role in organizing the event; he said he expects 300 or more people to come out to show their support.
“I don’t know exactly how many people will come, but I am trying to reach out to as many churches as possible and invite them down,” Macwan said. “This is an election year – we need to pray for our country like never before. As a Christian, I believe God wants us to pray,” Macwan said.
