Peggy Jenkins Stallworth Morrison, 85, was born in Russell County, Alabama on Oct. 27, 1935 and passed away on Feb. 19, 2021 at home.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Opelika since 1965 where she was involved in the Senior Adult Choir and served faithfully on the   Bereavement Committee. She was also a member of the Bobbie Meadows and Adult Nine (Clonts) Sunday School Classes.

She was an Administrative Assistant III for Auburn University Agricultural Experiment Substations for 20 years. She was also the bookkeeper at Lee Academy and Beauregard High School.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, William Morrison; her daughters, Beverly Stroud (Robert) and Lee Ann Johnson (Kevin); grandchildren, Lori Sease (Alex), Brian Stroud, and Alice Ann Hall (Adam); and her great-granddaughters, Lily Sease, Gracie Sease and Nora Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Edward C Stallworth; her son, David Stallworth; her parents, Willie and Dot Jenkins; and her brother, Travis Jenkins.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jon Commander and his staff, HomeCare of EAMC and Hospice Compassus for taking such good care of Momma.

Funeral Services was held 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 21 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Crowe and John Meadows officiating. Interment followed at Garden Hills Cemetery.
