Keep Opelika Beautiful (KOB) announces the Patriotic Porch Contest for residents of Opelika. Front porches and yards will be judged based on red, white and blue theme, creativity, arrangement and overall presentation.
To enter, submit one photo and contact information to KOB via email (tipi@keepopelikabeautiful.com) by June 27. Photos will be organized by city wards and posted on the KOB Facebook page. Facebook voting will take place June 28-July 1. There will also be a Creativity Award and Mayor’s Choice Award. Winners will be announced on Friday, July 2.
Keep Opelika Beautiful is a non-profit organization with the mission to educate the citizens on the importance of a beautiful and clean environment. The focus areas are beautification, recycling and litter prevention. The Opelika Observer is a sponsor of the Patriotic Porch Contest.
