On April 12, after closing its doors for four months, The Overall Company will celebrate its grand opening at its new location in the tasting room of the John Emerald Distilling Company. According to Overall Co. co-owner Laura Pritchard, those four months felt like an eternity to her and her husband Jay. “We can’t wait to see everyone, and we are so excited to start seeing our customer base on a day-to day basis again,” Laura said.
The entire community is invited to attend the event from 7-9 p.m. Attendees will receive the full Overall Co. experience with opportunities to check out the Overall Pop flavors and hand-crafted coffee. Guests will enjoy live entertainment by The Loon Band. The Pritchards said they are expecting a full house with customers from both Auburn and Opelika.
“It is going to be a beautiful event with all of our friends, family, new partners and customer base there. I think it’s going to be big for downtown Opelika,” Laura said. Laura added that she and Jay plan to address the crowd to show their gratitude to their customers and to introduce their new partners.
According to the company’s website, the mission of The Overall Co. is to “inspire and lift the spirit of every individual that comes in contact with the Overall Co. through meaningful and intuitive hospitality and intentional experiences that enliven the senses.” the Overall Co. celebrates Southern culture, food, fashion, art and music.
The Overall Company will feature the same menu as before, with a few minor changes for simplicity. Business hours are 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday- Wednesday, 7 a.m.- 7 p.m., Thursday- Friday and 8 a.m.- 7 p.m. on Saturday. The John Emerald Distilling Company is located at 706 N.
