Opelika Theatre Company (OTC) has wrapped up Descendants and is preparing for the “Together Now” performance event. This global event is being hosted by Music Theatre International.
Auditions will be held virtually by sending in video of a 30 to 60 second song choice and/or 30 to 60 second dance video. The deadline to submit the audition videos is Sept. 15.
OTC said it needs singers, dancers, soloists and ensemble for the fundraising event.
This global performance will take place on Nov. 12 – 14 and will include both children ten and up and adults. This will also be a fundraiser performance for OTC.

Opelika Theatre Company also has opportunities for children to improve their acting and improv skills through classes.
THEATRE CLASSES
The O-ACTS classes are held for children ages 6 through 10 and also for children 11 through 17 on both Mondays and Tuesdays.
Classes include acting, improve, scene students and musical theatre dance.
Classes for children 6 to 10 will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. and cost $40 a month. For children 11 through 17, classes are held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and cost $55 a month.
Families who register more than one children can receive a 20% discount, but each family must pay a $25 registration fee.
