The Opelika swim team hosted its October Invite Oct. 10 at the Opelika SportsPlex & Aquatic Center. Opelika won the event by a wide margin, earning first place in both the men’s and women’s team competition. The men scored 2,387.5, with second place YMCA Barracudas only earning 836.5. The women scored 2,475, with second place Life Time Southeast earning 576.
