Opelika Main Street merchants will be participating in the second and final “5th Saturday Sale” of 2018 Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This event is a fun way for vendors in the downtown area to offer major discounts and specials to patrons as a gesture of their gratitude.
“… (The event) is a fun way to get an entire downtown experience on a Saturday, especially since it’s not a day where a lot of events are held downtown,” said Taylor Sumrall, managing director of Taylor Made Designs.
Each participating store will have its own specials, but Taylor Made Designs will have a $1 and $5 basket of items that are typically higher in pricing and will give an extra 10 percent off on sale items.
