Opelika Main Street presents the 18th biannual On the Tracks Food and Wine Event, Oct. 10. The event will take place at the intersection of 8th and Railroad Streets in Historic Downtown Opelika from 6-11 p.m.

Local restaurants will be showcasing their fall menu items available for purchase a la carte with an optional hors d’oeuvre trail following various shops and galleries along the downtown storefronts. Drinks may be purchased for outdoor consumption at participating restaurants and bars.

Live music will be playing throughout the event on the corner of 8th Street and Railroad Avenue, the corner of Avenue A, 9th Street and Avenue B and 7th Street and North Railroad Avenue.

Private groups or businesses can reserve tables for the event starting at the price of $350 for ten people, which includes tickets to the hors d’oeuvre trail. There are additional food and drink options for tables available upon request. Each table includes a tent and chairs provided by the Tailgate Guys of Auburn.

Tickets can be purchased online at onthetracks.org or at the event. Participants are encouraged to purchase them in advance.

Opelika Main Street is a membership-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing Historic Downtown Opelika and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Alabama Historical Commission in 2009. The community is encouraged to participate in On the Tracks, coming together as a community and celebrating the city.
