Opelika Main Street has launched its 2021 annual membership drive, aimed at encouraging the community to support downtown. Membership dues go to support the many programs and services Opelika Main Street organizes each year including economic development efforts, special events, business development and downtown beautification.
“Supporting downtown means you are helping all of Opelika,” said Opelika Main Street Executive Director Ken Ward. “A strong downtown reverberates throughout the entire city!”
A few of the projects Opelika Main Street has helped bring about include the construction of Courthouse Square, updated landscaping in the Breezeway, restoration of the Depot and the placement of downtown way finding signs.
