The local nonprofit Compassionate Hands of Hope hosted its Glow for Epilepsy event this past Sunday at Opelika’s Courthouse Square from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Janataka Holmes, founder and CEO of Compassionate Hands of Hope Inc., organized the event which featured vendors, games, music and more. The Opelika Police and Fire Departments attended and gave a demonstration on what to do when encountering someone who is having a siezure.
