Opelika’s annual 4th of July event, Freedom Celebration, took place on Saturday, July 2. Hosted by Opelika Parks and Recreation, the community gathered at the event to enjoy food, musical entertainment and fireworks. The Silver Wings Parachute Team made a grand entrance for all to see.
