The Opelika City Schools Board met on Dec. 5 at the Central Office, located at 300 Simmons St. The meeting was brief and approval was given to approve personnel recommendations and contract renewal for OCS’s Chief Financial Officer Chris Harrison.
Monthly financial reports for September and October 2019 were presented and reviewed as well as monthly child nutrition reports were included in the board agenda.
The next school board meeting is scheduled for Jan. 28, 2020. While meeting dates vary, the board holds one meeting each month.
