Photo by Someone The Opelika Chiefs held its first football camp for children Aug. 22 at Moore Stadium in Opelika. More than 50 children, ages 9-13, particpated. Chiefs players and headcoach Hunter Price taught the children some fundamentals of football, including blocking and tackling techniques, stances, catching, running and agility. Each child received a T-shirt and participated in a just-for-fun flag football game at the end of the camp. This event was free to the public, and is just one of the public service events the Chiefs provide in and around Opelika.
