Opelika’s Cross Country Track Team competed recently in the Fort Gilmer Grind. The Lady Dawgs came in first place overall. The boys finished in third overall. Individual top winners include: Breckin Gould — 1st, Paola Torres — 8th, Mary Evans Cooper — 10th, Violett Alcorn — 11th, Maggie Bice — 13th and Joanne Smith T — 14th.
Opelika is back in action this Saturday as it hosts the Opelika Invitational at the Opelika SportsPlex, starting at 8 a.m.
