Patricia Ann Bailey, 78, of Loganville, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home. Pat was born on May 28, 1938 in Decatur, GA to Thomas and Pearl Massoures. Affectionately known to many,mostly children, as the “Candy Lady”, because she always carried a bag of candy to hand out, Pat was an extremely caring and giving person. She loved children and taking care of others, she made an impact on more people in her life than she ever knew and was described as having a “one of a kind personality”. Pat could always light up a room. She was honest till it hurt, funny to the end, more generous than anyone understood, tougher than she admitted and full of love, she will truly be missed. Mrs. Bailey was a longtime member of the Loganville First United Methodist Church. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Horace “Bud” Bailey. Survivors include her daughters Kim B. Jackson and husband Anthony of Brunswick, GA, Vicki McLure and husband Roy of Opelika, AL and Kristi Thompson and husband Brett of Nashville, TN, niece Sandy MacBride of Alpharetta, GA and grandchildren April Harris and husband Blanton, Derek Jackson, Adam Jackson, Jeremy Brand and wife Shanna, Jeff McLure and Blake Brand. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, GA.
