Judy Watts

Judy Watts passed away on September 7, 2017 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born in Gadsden, AL. Judy moved to Opelika in 1969. She attended Opelika Technical School. She worked at and retired from Uniroyal Tire Company. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Judy loved to paint, cross-stitch, and play games on her computer. The thing she loved most in life was being a Nana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin G. and Velma D. Henry; brother, Tom Henry; sister, Kathy Henry; and son in law, Kim Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Harold Watts; daughter, Lisa Watts Jackson; grandson, Konnor Jackson; granddaughter, Kayleigh Jackson; brothers: Richard Henry, Tim Henry, and Ted(Dale) Henry; sister-in-law, Margie Henry; great aunt, Sarah(Dom) Petrillo; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her doctors and EAMC ICU Staff for their wonderful, loving care she received during her stay there.
Her funeral service was held Saturday, September 9, 2017, 4:00 p.m., at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Pastor Frank Chapel officiated. Interment in Garden Hills Cemetery followed the service. Visitation with family and friends was held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. preceding the service.
