Funeral service for J.C. Miles, 75, of Opelika, AL, was at 12:00 noon (EST)/11:00 a.m. (CST), Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, 11727 US Highway 280 East, Salem, AL 36874 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Marshall Morgan officiated.
Mr. Miles, who passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home in Opelika, AL, was born April 25, 1942 in Lee County, AL.
Public viewing was Friday, August 25, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Mr. Miles laid in repose at the church one hour prior to the services.
Survivors include: a sister, Mary Davis of Salem, AL; two brothers, Willie C. Miles of Phenix City, AL and Mark (Jacqueline) Miles of Birmingham, AL; sister-in-law, Rosie Mae Jones of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
