Funeral service for Early Chambers, 79, of Opelika, AL, was at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Minister Jimmy Sawyer officiated.
Mr. Chambers, who passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at his home in Opelika, AL, was born August 8, 1938 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing was Friday, September 1, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Survivors include: one daughter, Tammy (James) Craig of Alexander City, AL; five sons, TLC Williams of Florala, AL, Early D. (Kim) Chambers, Darrin Chambers of Baltimore, MD, Nakomis Chambers of Pensacola, FL and Amir Al-hakim of Atlanta, GA; god-mother who raised him, Ellen Chambers of Florala, AL; eighteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special friends, Alice Wilson, Bobbie Menefield, Roxanne Ramsey and Pearlie Mae Stone; a host of other relatives and friends.
