Good bourbon, food and friends were all on hand at Niffer’s at the Tracks Bourbon Dinner last Friday night.
Bourbon Pork Tenderloin, Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce filled the plates of party goers and special-made cocktails filled glasses.Patrons sipped samples of Makers Mark, Knob Creek, and Basil Hayden bourbons, and enjoyed special cocktails made with all three, created just for the night. The signature drinks from the event have been added to a new bourbon menu at the restaurant.
The venue was small and intimate for Niffer’s first catering event, with nearly 50 guests. A bar stool, neon light and Niffer’s gift certificates were just some of the prizes given out from a raffle-ticket drawing.
John Alexander, Niffer’s CEO, said he hope to do several more catering events this spring and summer using vodka and rum.
