Margaret Frances (Fran) Soldo was born on Dec. 7, 1943. She passed away in her daughter’s home on Sept. 8, 2011, after a brave struggle with cancer.
Prior to becoming ill, Fran lived and worked in Birmingham, where she was a paralegal at the law firm, Bradley, Arant, Boult, Cumming where she had many friends. Fran was a remarkable woman with a kind heart, love of learning, sense of humor, creative spirit and selflessness that will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Robin Lange and Stefanie’s husband Clifford Robert Lange and her granddaughters Megan Abigail Lange and Noel Katherine Lange who were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Cecile Cherry and nephew, Codi Noles.
The memorial service will be held on Sept. 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home The family suggests in lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
