The city of Opelika hosted the Summer in the Park for United Way of Lee County on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Municipal Park. There were fun activities including the Burgers and Badges Grill-Off, the Incredible Duck Race down the creek, rides on the Rocky Brook Rocket, a guest appearance from Aubie, the Auburn University Tiger and more. All proceeds from the event were donated to United Way of Lee County.
