The Knee High Foundation Inc. is committed to helping youth within the community. They strive to mentor, serve, and uplift the youth with structure and guidance in a nurturing environment. In doing so, they are trusting and believing that youth are the future, which is why they must equip them with life skills and tools necessary to help them succeed in life.

In a 500 to 750 word essay, seniors are asked to describe a problem that they see within a community and devise a plan to help fix it. Essay content will be used as the main criteria for the awarding of scholarships. Grades and GPA will be used as secondary criteria.

Please submit an essay and last report card to dawgpoundcoordinator@gmail.com by April 30. A total of four scholarships will be given away – two valued at $500 and the other two at $250. For more information and updates, follow the nonprofit’s Facebook page or visit www.thekneehighfoundation.org.
