The 25th Annual Alabama-Mississippi High School All Star football game is scheduled for Dec. 10 at the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery. Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. The game will be hosted by the Montgomery Lions Club in conjunction with the City of Montgomery, Central Alabama Sports Commission and the Alabama High School Athletic Association and is supported by Lions Clubs across the state, including the Opelika Lions Club.

Boasting some of the most-talented players from the state the All-Star Game was moved to Montgomery this year after playing the last 24 years in Mobile. The game will showcase outstanding senior players from the 2011 high school football season. More than 80 players and coaches representing 60 schools will participate in this year’s game.

Local players participating in the game include Opelika Bulldogs Torey Agee (top left) and Jamario Alford (below left), Auburn High School’s Cody Core and Caleb Peterson and Central of Phenix City’s Jonathan Wallace and Jonathan Curry.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from local Lions Clubs. For more information visit www.al- msallstarfootball.com. Proceeds benefit Lions Club charities (www.montgomerylions.com).
