CONTRIBUTED BY THE LEE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD

All Lee County Schools will transition to a blended learning model (students work virtually from home while staff will report to the school building) on Friday, Nov. 12, for the one day only. All co-curricular and extra-curricular school activities will continue as planned.

Please continue to monitor media outlets and the school website, www.lee.k12.al.us, for any updated information.

Lessons will be provided via Google Classroom. Teachers will upload assignments to their Google Classrooms, meet with students via Zoom, and/or hold daily office hours. During these office hours, teachers will be available to zoom with students to answer questions about the content.

Students will take their belongings with them when they leave school Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for pickup from the school lunchroom for Lee County Students only between the hours of 7 to 8 a.m. CST and 10:30 a.m. to noon CST. You must either have the child with you or the child’s lunch card with you at the time of pickup. Please contact your child’s school if you are unsure where meal pickup will take place.
