Kimberly Reynolds Epperson, 47,  of Opelika, passed away Aug. 17, 2021 at EAMC. Mrs. Epperson was born February 19, 1974 in Mobile, Alabama, to Ed and Peggy Reynolds. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Reverend Sean Rezek officiating.

Mrs. Epperson graduated from Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood education at Auburn University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was the director of the preschool.

Mrs. Epperson is survived by her husband Derreck Epperson of Opelika; children: Katie Epperson, Kris Epperson, Kyle Epperson all of Opelika; mother Peggy Reynolds of Woodstock, Georgia; sister: Michelle Reynolds Albers (Paul) of Woodstock, Georgia; sister-in-law Johanna Epperson of Jemison, Alabama; parents-in-law Bruce and Connie Epperson of Jemison, Alabama; nieces and nephews: Miller Albers (Katie) of Columbus, Georgia, Reed Albers of Woodstock, Georgia, Annslee Albers of Woodstock, Georgia; many friends that considered her family including Heather High and a host of others that considered her “mom”.  She is preceded in death by her father, Ed Reynolds.
