Junior League of Lee County  awarded four community partners as 2020 grant recipients in a socially distant outdoor ceremony on Aug. 28. Recipients included Girls on the Run, Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County and I Am My Brother’s Keeper.

The Junior League of Lee County (JLLC) is committed to strengthening the leadership, power and voices of school-age girls and young women in Lee County to result in increased confidence, courage, knowledge, and personal development. JLLC is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, comprised of more than 150,000 women in 292 communities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Mexico. The Junior League of Lee County welcomes new members, women ages 21 and older, year-round.
