John Dennis Beauchene, 76, of Opelika, Alabama passed away peacefully on May 23, 2021, at his home in Opelika.  He was born April 15, 1945, in New Britain, Connecticut.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Mary (Dionne) Beauchene, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jon T. Beauchene and his brother, Gary D. Beauchene.

He is survived by his brother, George Beauchene and his wife Patricia of Southington, Connecticut, his sister Veronica Good and her husband Jim of Colchester, Connecticut, his three daughters, Marlene Highfill of Opelika, Kimberly (Kendall) Price of Auburn and Michelle (Steve) Burt of Saint Peters, Missouri and her son, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) David (Catherine) Beauchene of Jeffersonton, Virginia, seven grandchildren (oldest to youngest), Kenneth Bastian, Derrick Bastian, Troy Bastian, Storme Burt, Andrew Highfill, Jordan Highfill and Nathan Price, three great-grandchildren, Aaminah Dodd, Kenler Bastian and Talan Bastian. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

His visitation was held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27 and his Mass was held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Opelika on Friday, May, 28, at 10 a.m.
