Special to the
Opelika Observer

American folk artist, road-tested troubadour and songwriter Greg Klyma will perform at The Sound Wall in Opelika on Oct. 24.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to bring their own beer and enjoy an evening of amazing live music.
According to a description on his website, Klyma said he draws influence from “old-school country, classic rock and singer-songwriter folk … three styles of music that I love. I love to listen to ’em. I love to play ’em. My wheelhouse finds me standing in the long shadows of Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Tom Petty and Mick & Keef, to name a few.”
Klyma has released eight studio albums, including a live performance and fan favorite show at Buffalo, New York’s Sportmen’s Tavern on Sept. 18, 2010. His most recent album “Never Knew Caroline” was released in 2017 and was met with warm reception from fans and critics alike.
