George Johnson

Graveside service for Mr. George Johnson, 87, of Auburn, Alabama will be held at noon on Feb. 24, 2021 at Pine Level Cemetery. Rev. Joe Frank Johnson will officiate.
Mr. Johnson passed away Feb. 17, 2021 at his home. He attended Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Tuskegee, Alabama. Following his tour of duty in the US Army, he earned his high school diploma at the VFW School in Opelika. Mr. Johnson was employed at West Point Stevens for thirty (30) plus years.
Public viewing was held Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
He is survived by: one son, Rev. Joe Frank Johnson of Auburn; one brother, Clarence Johnson of Auburn; one sister, Katie Andrews-Calderon of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Jorrod (Taraysa) Johnson, Tiffany (Brandon) Murray, Felicia Johnson, Ashley (Alvin) Crittenden and Brandon Williams; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
