LAGRANGE ––

Sweetland Amphitheatre is proud to announce another concert to its 2022 lineup: George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. The band will play in LaGrange on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

Tickets went on sale to the public Wednesday, May 11 at 10 a.m. The venue is asking concertgoers to purchase tickets only through sweetlandamp.com. Tickets cannot be guaranteed when purchased through third-party vendors.

Recording both as Parliament and Funkadelic, George Clinton revolutionized R&B during the 1970s, twisting soul music into funk by adding influences from several late-1960s acid heroes like Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa and Sly Stone.
