Futbol Club Legend won their second Opelika Superliga title with a spirited 3-2 victory over the Opelika Rails March 20. The season ending tournament also marked the fifth anniversary of the Opelika Parks and Recreation Department’s Men’s 7v7 Soccer League.
Summer Superliga registration is expected near the end of April, and registration forms will be available at the Opelika Sportsplex on Andrews Road. Participants will need a 1×1 ID photo for their player card and cash or a check to cover registration cost.
Exact registration cost will be announced at a later date, but will be in the neighborhood of $55 per player. The final cost will fluctuate according to fees charged by officials, number of games, etc. The registration fee covers  officials’ fees, game jersey, player cards and eight to 12 games with a post-season.
