Current Las Vegas Raiders and former Auburn Tigers kicker Daniel Carlson broke the single-season franchise record for most points scored in a single season on Sunday.

To claim the record, Carlson passed Oakland legend Sebastian Janikowski, who played for the Raiders for 18 years from 2000-17.

Carlson was a sixth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2018, but was cut just two games into the season after struggling early on.

Carlson was quickly picked up by the Raiders and has found a home in Las Vegas.

In his record breaking season this year, Carlson has made 33-of-35 field goals (94.3%), good enough for the fourth best mark among kickers who have attempted at least 20 field goals this season. Carlson is 18-of-18 on field goals from 20-29 yards; 7-of-7 from 30-39 yards; 3-of-5 from 40- 49 yards; and 4-of-4 from 50 plus yards, with a long of 54.
