First Freewill Baptist Church will kick off this year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) with a celebration that includes a free hotdog and water slides on Saturday, June 11, from noon to 2 p.m. Attendees should bring bathing suits and towels.
VBS will be held Monday through Friday, June 13 through 17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Supper will be served Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the children will wear their free T-shirts to perform what they have learned and see a puppet show. Cupcakes to follow.
First Freewill Baptist Church is located at 103 19th St., on the corner of First Avenue, in Opelika.
