A Project Uplift skate party was held last week at the Skate Center in Auburn. An Auburn University program, Project Uplift is governed by the Lee County Youth Development Center’s Board of Directors with a goal “to help children develop constructive, happy lives so that the delinquency rate … will decrease.” Project Uplift offers volunteer services to Lee County children at no cost to their families.
