Emily Hall of Ranburne was crowned Southern Union State Community College’s 2018 Homecoming Queen Nov. 3.
Hall attends Southern Union on a Presidential Scholarship. She is a member of the school’s music department, Baptist Campus Ministries, Mu Alpha Theta and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
First runner-up to the Homecoming Queen was Opelika native Molly McMurray.
Other members of Southern Union’s homecoming court were Julianna Kelly of Wedowee,
Claragrace Jensen of Auburn and Katie McGill of Ashland.
Candidates were nominated by members of the student body for the Homecoming Court. The queen was selected based on popular votes among the students.
Southern Union State Community College has campuses located in Wadley, Opelika, and Valley, Alabama.
