Donald Gibbs of Opelika was born to the late Leonard Cleveland Gibbs, Sr. and Agnes Smith Gibbs on Sept. 11, 1952 and passed away at East Alabama Medical Center on June 28, 2021. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by his wife Pamela C. Gibbs, daughter, Jessica Byrd (Calvin), and Bonita Morales, severn grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters, Georgia Decker, Marion Olson (Dick), Connie Moore (Gary), brother, Mark Gibbs (Belinda) and former wife, Teresa Olsen.
Visitation was held Thursday, July 1, 2021 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home and the graveside service was held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.
