Opelika Police Department members recently visited Church of the Highland’s Serve Day at Kings Trailer Park, giving out popsicles to locals and allowing children to explore the patrol car. Officers also spent time with Esperanza House, First Baptist Church of Opelika, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County and Summer Swing to play games, dance and provide community members and children with cold treats.
