Our top-ranked Opelika Chiefs wrapped up their second consecutive undefeated season with a decisive 30-10 victory over the #3 Metro Atlanta Horsemen last Saturday night at Beulah Stadium. The Horsemen had been ranked #1 in the APDFL for several weeks earlier in the season before being displaced by the Chiefs.
The Chiefs will be off for the next two weeks before beginning league playoffs. The first round playoff game will be at Beulah Stadium on Saturday, June 4, at 7 p.m. We will bring you information about the Chiefs’ opponent next week.
