The Bottling Plant Event Center in downtown Opelika will be the area’s destination to ring in 2020.
The festivities kick off with a New Year’s party starting at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. At 9:30 p.m., the Atlanta-based funk, motown and soul group “The Answer Band” will take the stage, followed by a breakfast buffet at 11 p.m. Once midnight strikes, everyone will have the opportunity to participate in a champagne toast.
Advance tickets can be purchased for $30 at www.bottlingplanteventcenter.com or $40 on the day of the event and at the door. Tables can also be reserved for groups of four or eight, cosing $150 and $300, respectively. The event is open to those 21 years old and older.
On Jan. 3 from 7 to 11:30 p.m., DM Entertainment will host “Soul Bash 2020,” which will feature performances from Calvin Richardson with Tonio Armani, DJ Chip of Magic 101.3 FM, DJ Costee J and DJ Marc Da Prime.
Advance tickets for this event cost $25 and can be purchased on the venue’s website.
