The Auburn Chamber is pleased to announce its second year of partnership with Auburn University’s Student Government Association (SGA) on the student discount program, AU10. This partnership is an effort to encourage students to shop local and support local businesses. To welcome students back, the business community may offer a 10% discount at the point of sale (excluding the sale of alcohol). Students will be asked to show their student ID to receive the discount.
This program will run on Auburn University’s academic calendar, and businesses will be given the opportunity to participate prior to each fall semester.
Participating businesses will be given an AU10 decal for their storefront and a digital logo for their website, which will allow students to identify them as a participant of the discount program. The Auburn Chamber has a webpage (www.auburnchamber.com/community/au10-directory/#/action/Alpha/value/ALL/cid/341/id/4001/listingType/O) dedicated to the AU10 program and lists all the participating businesses. This list will be updated for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Additionally, Auburn University’s SGA will communicate program details through email and various marketing channels.
