Michaela Sanford, a student at East Samford Middle School in Auburn, won the title of 2021 National American Miss Alabama preteen on Aug 2. Michaela also won Talent, Best Resume and 1st Runner Up in the Heart of Service Award. Michaela received a $1,000 cash scholarship as the state winner and $300 for talent winner. Michaela was escorted by her dad, an Auburn police officer and Ret. Chief Warrant Officer from the United States Army.
