Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, P.C. is excited to announce the third annual ‘Alexander Shunnarah Teacher of the Month’ initiative. The Birmingham-based personal injury law firm, known for the eye-catching billboards across the state, is now launching a nationwide campaign spotlighting K-12 teachers throughout the United States for their work and commitment to impacting their students’ lives.

“This year marks 20 years of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys and while our values have remained consistent, our scale and scope have expanded to best serve the incredible people we represent,” said Alexander Shunnarah, president and CEO of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys. “As the firm expands nationally, it’s time our community impact does, too. I am thrilled for the third year of this campaign and the opportunity to highlight the committed teachers across the country that are shaping our children’s future.”

Last year, the highly successful initiative received over 1,200 nominations and honored 16 teachers in Alabama. This year, the third annual ‘Alexander Shunnarah Teacher of the Month’ initiative will celebrate teachers from across the country, accepting nominations from every state and region.

“I was so surprised and honored to be chosen as an Alexander Shunnarah Teacher of the Month,” said Kelsey Penn, past winner from Mountain Gap Middle School. “The 2020-21 school year was very overwhelming and draining, so when I got the email notifying me of my nomination it seemed like a light at the end of the tunnel. My friends, family and coworkers were all so proud of me, and it gave me joy to finish out the year strong. Thank you to Mr. Shunnarah and his team.”

As a token of gratitude for their work, selected teachers will receive a $250 VISA gift card and their headshot on an Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys digital billboard for a day. To nominate a teacher, visit https://shunnarah.com/teacher-of-the-month-initiative/ and complete the form with detailed and specific information explaining why your nominee is deserving of the ‘Alexander Shunnarah Teacher of the Month’ honor.
