The East Alabama branch of the Public Relations Council of Alabama and Auburn Rotary Club will host acclaimed writer and columnist Sean Dietrich for a talk Feb. 28 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Saugahatchee Country Club.
Dietrich is known for his commentary on life in the American South. His work has appeared in Southern Living, Good Grit, The Tallahassee Democrat, South Magazine, Yellowhammer News, the Bitter Southerner, Thom Magazine, The Mobile Press Register, and he has authored eight books.
The event is free and open to members of the East Alabama PRCA and ARC. Tickets are $35 for the public and include a buffet-style lunch and can be purchased at the country club by cash, check or debit/credit card. The Saugahatchee Country Club is located at 3800 Bent Creek Road in Opelika.
