Bring the family and celebrate this festive season with Auburn Area Community Theatre (AACT) as they bring back, by popular demand, the second annual “Holiday Walk in the Woods” at the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center on Dec. 17 and 18.

In the spirit of unity, peace and community, AACT and the Kreher Preserve are hosting a special presentation of music and traditions from our diverse  community —  “Holiday Walk in the Woods.” Performers will be stationed along a decorated and lit path in the piney winter woods while small groups walk with a guide at staggered entry times. Performers will share a song, spoken word or other performance with the groups at six to eight stations along the roughly hour-long tour. At the end of the path, treats from local bakeries and a craft station await as groups return to the parking area. All performances will be family-friendly. Additionally, the daytime walks will have special surprises and songs for the kids! Performance blocks are scheduled with start times of 5 to 6:50 p.m. on Dec. 17 and 18 and also from 10 a.m. to noon on the 18th.

Each group will have a maximum of 15 people unless an entire time slot is purchased. Purchase an entire slot for your family and friends, up to 20 people. Tickets are $7 each or $75 for an entire slot. For more information about this event or to purchase tickets, please visit www.auburnact.org. Email info@auburnact.org for group rate information.

Through donations from Auburn Reprographics and the Carter family, enchanting decorations, lighting and crafts were made possible for the event.
