Delores Watkins Waller
Funeral service for Delores Watkins Waller, 65, of Opelika was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Burial was held in Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, one hour prior to the service at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Waller passed away Friday, April 17, at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1949, in Opelika. She was employed with the State of Alabama Employment Service for 36 years serving as the manager for the Opelika division for nine years.
Deloris was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed crafts, sewing for her grandchildren, and being a member of the Pilot Club.
Mrs. Waller is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Watkins and Maynelle Watkins. She is survived by her husband, George Waller; son, Paul Waller; daughter, Kellie Glass; grandchildren, Sean Glass, Kimberly Glass; great-grandson, Evan Oguynn; brothers, Dana (Carole) Watkins, Tony (Michelle) Watkins; sisters, Sheri (Tony) Armstrong, and Rita Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pilot Club of East Alabama or the Fraternal Order of Police.
