Lee County Relay for Life honors cancer survivors

The Lee County Relay for Life 2025 was held Friday, May 2, at Greater Peace Baptist Church in Opelika. Relay for Life, sponsored by the American Center Society, raises awareness and provides support for people whose lives have been impacted by cancer and celebrates survivors and caregivers. This year’s event raised almost $68,771 toward the goal of $100,000. At Relay for Life, no donation is too small, and every dollar counts.
